The maximum cost of project / limit admissible under manufacturing sector is Rs. 25.00 lakh and under business / service is Rs. 10.00 lakh for the scheme.

2. PMFME
PMFME stands for ‘Prime Minister Micro Food Processing Enterprises’. PMFME is an all India Centrally Sponsored Scheme .
Existing Entrepreneur engaged in micro food processing unit can apply to expand the business. Individual entrepreneur willing to set up new units can be supported for One District One Product (ODOP). In addition to this, Farmer producer organizations (FPO), Self Help Groups (SHGs), and Producers Cooperatives can also apply.

3. NEIDS
North East Industrial Development Scheme (NEIDS) has been launched to further catalyse the Industrial development in the North Eastern Region including Sikkim. It has come into force from 01.04.2017 and will remain in force up to 31.03.2022. the Scheme covers new units in manufacturing and services sectors. The Scheme provides for Central Capital Investment Incentive for access to credit, Central Capital Interest Incentive, Central Comprehensive Insurance Incentive, Goods and Services Tax Reimbursement, etc.

APART would lay special focus on value addition in the production and post-harvest segments of selected agricultural commodity value-chains ; facilitate agribusiness investments through inclusive business models, that provide opportunities to small farmers as well as stimulate the establishment of new small & medium agribusiness enterprises; and support resilience of agriculture production systems in order to better-manage the increasing production and risks associated with climate change, in the targeted districts .The project would adopt a cluster strategy, to generate economies of scale; promote vertical and horizontal links between local agricultural enterprises; enable diffusion of innovations; leverage network externalities; and channel public support for services and infrastructure. By adopting a cluster approach, project would enable all the value chain participants to develop competitive and innovative products that meet current market demands.

An Export Promotion Facilitation Centre is operationalized at office of the Additional Director of industries & Commerce, District Industries & Commerce Centre, Karbi Anglong, Diphu to make the District an export hub to promote export from the District.
